every time once in a while in a village by the sea you can see a redheaded girl selling pearls and groceries if you buy some of her goods and you give her a good tip something unique and mystique you will get out of it “meet me at sunset in the cave” you will hear from her lips in a pretty subtle voice such as people who never speak but don’t get so worked up as things are never as they seem if you follow her advice all you will find is a knife death awaits for you in the sunset cave you will meet your end death awaits for us in the sunset cave, by the hand of the readheaded girl pay attention to the place you will see no tourist here they’ve already been disposed like the garbage they’re considered if reasons is what you seek they are plenty to be found a life of terror and misbelief in her head have claimed the crown so if you’re headed to that place looking for a funny trip don’t forget what I just said so you don’t end up just like them ‘cause every time one in a while in a village by the sea you can see a redheaded girl you better watch it ‘til she leaves death awaits for you in the sunset cave you will meet your end death awaits for us in the sunset cave, by the hand of the readheaded girl

hanging around in some empty bar the Priest and the Thief finish up their jars the sun is rising as they fall apart but they don’t seem to mind going around and beating the bush the Priest and the Thief try to reach their homes the more they drink, the more they roam as they’re becoming one a two faced God, with the town in their hand “get out of here”, they yell to the crowd the one they’re supposed to feed, the one they’re gonna rob they find no shame in looting the mob and they don’t seem to mind every night they go to the pub two different consciences, two different minds the more they share, the more they talk as they’re becoming one a two faced God with the town in their hands the Priest and the Thief go sacking around town one with his preaching the other, with the hands they leave nobody out of their crime they pillage the city from the top to the ground as they’re becoming one a two faced God with the town in their hands

take me to the place where the screamers scream and the lovers make love ‘cause I can’t tell no more if we are lovers or we are the former if you want to move on just go away and do it quickly but leave me with my drugs at least when they’re gone it doesn’t feel like you’re missing my girl’s a paradox just when she’s high she does find me appealin’ cause I don’t know no more if my baby loves me or if she’s just teasin’ my mind doesn’t feel right, she says as she takes a hit from my dream-eater she doesn’t seem to mind the purple bird hanging from the ceiling ‘cause I I can’t take it no more this girl she’s taking all of my stuff free is the price she arranged for herself and meanwhile that bird’s inviting his friends tell me, Purple Bird if my mind’s so hazy why can I see you clearly you should come over here the ceiling’s not so cozy when your body’s real my girl don’t listen no more the last hit she took has left her dreaming you should come over here you don’t have to be real to be my meal ‘cause I I can’t take it no more this girl she’s taking all of my stuff free is the price she arranged for herself and meanwhile that bird’s inviting his friends

the absence of a God has made me free as the rain is my new Lord and the Earth is my new soul she talks to me through the visions in my head and I deliver like a friend, like a lover, ‘til the end she takes from me with my consentment, as I know she’ll provide back come and join me in the forest, and I know she’ll get us high closer to the Holy Wisdom, neglected by The Man feared by the power, as they fear us much more than we fear them hesitation is the answer to the questions that they claim learn to formulate your questions, to be answered by yourself take the road of meditation, escape the realm of what is plain no God will make you free, that task’s for you and yourself

tuesday night, sitting alone at home no one to meet, nowhere to go no words to write, thriving to be thrown a bone and then it comes, a buzz on my phone familiar voice comes out of the machine “what are you doing?”, “wanna meet?” sent from the heavens by an unholy god that for once doesn’t take, but gives “come to my place and let’s hang out” a sweet command that she delivers with charm my body follows and my mind doesn’t mind as it did yesterday and will do for a while she welcomes me with some wine and pot “bring your records, set the gramophone” the perfect host for a night of delight so was yesterday and will be for a while the finest woman that I’ve ever met the finest woman that I’ve ever met the finest woman that I’ve ever met stands next to me, in the good and the bad the finest woman that I’ve ever met the finest woman that I’ve ever met the finest woman that I’ve ever met respects the art that I craft with my hands we spend the night sitting around in her room the shadows in the ceiling kaleidoscopically move sweet hallucination setting up the mood for a talk about Dylan and some journalist scum “it’s getting late, we should call it a day”, she says “you don’t have to leave, you can stay” but tomorrow morning I have somewhere to be stay here sleeping, you can wait for me the finest woman that I’ve ever met the finest woman that I’ve ever met the finest woman that I’ve ever met stands next to me, in the good and the bad the finest woman that I’ve ever met the finest woman that I’ve ever met the finest woman that I’ve ever met respects the art that I craft with my hands

you sit at the edge of the world I’m in a crater that’s no more words without letters glaring at the shore standing at the shadow of the door the moon shines down on a sleeping lizard little fish rain down from the sky outside the window there are soldiers stealing themselves to die Kafka sits in a chair by the shore thinking of the pendulum that moves the world when your heart is closed the shadow of the unmoving sphinx becomes a knife that pierces your dreams the drowning girl’s fingers search for the entrance stone and more lifting the hem of her azure dress she gazes at Kafka on the shore Kafka sits in a chair by the shore thinking of the pendulum that moves the world when your heart is closed the shadow of the unmoving sphinx becomes a knife that pierces your dreams

oh, where did you go now? you left me alone in this cloud of smoke the hole is nowhere to bee seen just be sure not to fall within i’m lost, feeling like a ghost this feels like a maze without the walls they tell me “this is how it goes” but i'm sure i'm not like the most beware of the burning fields wait for your time to come escape from the dancing thieves but death comes to us all i don’t remember the last time when we had a little bit of fun your mind gets dizzy with the time like a blade dulling with the strikes pictures of you when you were young infused by the power that one has when he controls its own the memories you had are quickly fading from your past as the meaning of your life is no longer to discuss beware of the burning fields wait for your time to come escape from the dancing thieves but death comes to us all you’re lost in this cloud of smoke your goals are nowhere to be found too late for you to react as your time is sliding through your hands
